Ensuring safe and effective treatment pathway for you.
Australian law ensures the safe treatment of illness using CBD and THC related medications. If Dr Moore recommends this treatment for you, the pathway may alter.
All patients must have the initial consultation with Dr Moore where the treatment plan is discussed and initiated. This is then followed by a review in a fortnight, then monthly check-ins (or whenever you need a script) - a must prior to a prescription being written.
A typical patient pathway follows a simple 14 day process with a minimum of 2 consultations once treatment has commenced.
The Process
To treat you effectively and safely, it is important that he has a full overview of your medical history including the treatments that have not worked. Please bring the following documents with you to your first consultation:
A referral letter from your GP or Medical Specialist (not required).
Relevant medical history from other doctor(s).
Recent or pertinent blood test/pathology test results.
Recent or pertinent X-Rays, MRIs, or other medical imaging and accompanying reports.

Consult with Dr Matty Moore
During your first consultation, Matty will complete a review of your condition and become familiar with your medical history and past management. He will educate you on how your new medicine works and what to expect. If you qualify, he will setup a treatment plan, write a prescription, and walk you through the 2-3 week titration schedule.
This consultation usually takes 30 minutes.
This can be in person or via Telehealth.

Follow-up after Initiation
Once you’ve begun, Matty will monitor your progress and make any necessary alterations to your treatment schedule. It is required by law and appropriate to have at least 1 follow-up consultation prior to the prescription of any repeats.
This consultation usually takes 15 minutes.
This can be in person or via Telehealth.
